I chose Fahrenheit 451 for many reasons. One reason was that I didn't know what it was about. I knew that it was about a firefighter named Guy Montag. The strange thing in the book is the firefighters in the book don't put out fires, they start them. In the book, you're not allowed to read books. The firemen burn all the books, and they The first time i read part of it, I didn't understand it. I didn't know they actually burned books and weren't allowed to read them. At first I didn't understand what Montag was hiding in the ventilator grille, but then after reading more I finally realized.
