responsable blogging

Blogging can be very dangerous at times, but it can be prevented. Some of the dangers that were disscussed in the websites were people posting things on their blog that is immature and then having an employer seeing and not hiring you because of it. Another danger is looking at websites you've never looked at before. Some of them could be creepy. One other danger is putting your full name in the blog. You should never put your telephone number, screen name, or email address. You should know that these blogs are open to the public and if you post your personal information, anyone can find you. It's different with the internet because you never know who's on the other side of the computer. They could make up a totally different person than they really are and you don't know what to expect. Sometimes it could be scary. Different people look at your blog and you never know who's looking. I would never put my full name, phone number, email address, screen name, or any other personal information for that matter on a type of blog like this. Students need to keep their blogs simple and not say anything too personal. Some simple rules of responsable blogging are - never put your full name, never put your telephone number, and never put your email address.
